Przemysław Grądzki, M.A. - since 1998, Master of Philosophy at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (Department of Fundamentals of Computer Science); Master's thesis in the field of artificial intelligence (genetic algorithms).
Professional experience
- Since September 5, 2022, he has been working at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, covering the preparation and recording of a report on the development of the digital edition of Józef Łobodowski's "Notatniki" (part 3).
- Since June 1, 2022 (and still) employed at the Humanities Research Data Lab of the Catholic University of Lublin as a research and technical specialist. Tasks include preparing applications and web services for data collection.
- As of November 1, 2020. (and still) a contractor at MakoLab S.A. Programming work for projects: Blockchain - NCBR, FIBO (EDMCouncil), Historical Ontology of Urban Spaces, and for “Sita for Aircraft”.
- From March 5, 2020 to March 31, 2022, employed at the Department of Philosophy of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin as a research and technical specialist. Co-author of code for Edition Visualization Technology (EVT); co-participation in the projevt A voucher for Innovation - increasing the competitiveness of MakoLab S.A. through the purchase of scientific research leading to the development of a “smartcontract” component based on logic methods for Blockchain systems.
- From 1998 until July 31, 2020 employed in the KUL ICT Department; since 2012 in the position of senior administrator of IT systems (Linux, Windows). Participant of training courses in: administration of Oracle Database, Oracle Weblogic. Design and implementation of various types of systems: identity management (a system of own authorship in Perl language, integrating OpenLDAP, Active Directory with S4A local university management system), email (Qmail/Dovecot), VoIP (Asterisk), DHCP/DNS, VPN (OpenVPN), LAMP platforms. Cooperation in the implementation of the following systems: anti-plagiarism OSA, publishing OJS, content management Wordpress, library dLibra. Administration of IT network (Cisco, Meru and other devices), Linux systems (Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).
- From 1998 to 2012, teaching and research associate in the Department of Philosophy of Cosmology of the Faculty of Philosophy of KUL. Experience in university teaching: including Web Design, Spatial Information Systems. Databases, Electronic Editing.
- In 2014-2016, contractor in the project Optimization of beef production in Poland, in accordance with the strategy “from fork to homestead” (co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program Innovative Economy, under POIG, Priority 1. Research and development of modern technologies, Measure 1. 3. Support of R&D projects for entrepreneurs carried out by scientific units, Sub-measure 1.3.1.); system administration, development of bibliographic data import module using Elsevier API (PHP), as well as web application - GUI for data entry (technologies: JavaScript, PHP, MySQL).
- Since 2015, contractor in the NPRH project (2bH 15 0216 83) carried out by the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences Ontological foundations for building historical geoinformation systems; configuration and security of the server for the database and applications of the project; design of IT infrastructure for Open Linked Data services; development of a web application - a geographic data search module based on JavaScript, PHP, PostgreSQL technologies used in the publishing series of IH PAN “Atlas of Sources and Materials” (on the portal Atlas Fontium).
- Since 2017, cooperation with MakoLab SA; R&D work, especially in the field of blockchain; design and implementation of a JavaScript-based web application, which is a component of the GraphChain system; server management in the GraphChain project; FIBO project – infrastructure management: server administration, CI system (Jenkins), programming work on the development of the Ontology Builder tool.
- Since 2018, contractor (programmer and IT systems administrator) in the NPRH project 11H 18 0056 86 Philomaths Archive – digital edition implemented by the Faculty of Humanities of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.
- Permanent collaborator of the Academicon Foundation, among others in the field of maintaining IT systems (OJS, OMP).
