The aim of the project is to develop the materials that make up the historical Philomath Archives using digital editing. Currently, the documents from this collection are scattered and stored in four institutions: the University Library of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, the Museum of Literature in Warsaw, the Wróblewski Library in Vilnius and the Vilnius University Library. The planned edition is to collect all the documents from the Archive and make them available in digital form along with editorial editing.

The essence of the activities planned in this project is to obtain complete knowledge about the history and content of the collection of documents operating under the name of the Philomath Archive and to organize and communicate this knowledge in a scientific forum. This will be achieved by creating a digital edition of these documents. The planned edition is to enable the use of this online resource in the following way:

Project description
The essence of the activities planned in this project is to obtain complete knowledge about the history and content of the collection of documents operating under the name of the Philomath Archive and to organize and communicate this knowledge in a scientific forum. This will be achieved by creating a digital edition of these documents. The planned edition is to enable the use of this online resource in the following way:

- varied, depending on the needs of the edition's recipients (the edition will include document images, transliterations, transcriptions and additional materials: document metrics, historical, historical-literary and linguistic comments and a complete bibliography),
- simple (editing should be available using the most popular web browsers, without the need to install additional software and used intuitively, without the need for training).
